MONOCOQUE BODY
The monocoque structure is a structure in which the body itself has rigidity
as a frame, is resistant to twisting and bending, and saves space.
It is used in rockets and F1 machines that require durability and
space efficiency under extreme conditions. Even with a spinning reel
that incorporates more than 150 parts in a small body, the effect
is enormous. By eliminating the need for space to fix the screws,
the size of the drive gear relative to the body dimensions
has been expanded to the utmost limit. In fact, it has become possible
to store a large-diameter drive gear that occupies about 85%
of the body area. In other words, if the body is the same size as before,
a huge gear can be stored, and if the gear size is the same as before,
a very compact body can be realized. It is a technology with infinite potential
to lighten strong things, and it is a lightweight and tough technology that
can be said to be the core of "LT" LIGHT & TOUGH that Daiwa
demands
for spinning reels. 21LUVIAS AIRITY uses a full metal (Mg) monocoque body
that achieves a high level of lightness and rigidity. |
ZAION AIR ROTOR
ZAION is lightweight, highly rigid, and has ideal characteristics that it is resistant
to corrosion unlike metals. Thoroughly analyze the weight reduction of
the
line roller part and the bale structure of the spinning reel, which makes
it difficult to evenly distribute the weight to the rotating shaft,
and calculate the appropriate distribution. As a result, a rotor with
even lighter rotation has been realized. |
MAGSEALED
Anglers fishing in extreme environments require reels to maintain their
performance
in any environment. However, waterproofing rotating structures is a challenge
that all developers have been tackling from the past. The point of the
problem
is that the rotating structure absolutely needs a space for things to turn
around.
If the space is closed for waterproofing, the rotational performance will
be lost.
The solution to this is Magshield, which is based on the idea of ??"blocking liquid
with liquid."It is a wall of mug oil that can exist semi-permanently
due to magnetism,
and is DAIWA's only one technology that prevents seawater and dust from
entering
the inside of the reel. This epoch-making technology announced in 2010
has been deepened by mounting on line rollers and ball bearings since its announcement,
and is now becoming an indispensable technologyfor DAIWA reels and anglers.
In 21LUVIAS AIRITY, a reel with a high waterproof structure was born
by mounting it on the pinion gear part and line roller part (excluding
FC model).

TOUGH DIGIGEAR
The trinity element (design concept, processing technology, gear material)
is indispensable for the drive gear, which is the most important part of
the reel.
21LUVIAS AIRITY is a further evolution of DigiGear II,
and adopts "Ultra Duralumin MC Tough DigiGear" that keeps smooth rotation
for a long time. A design concept that carefully takes into account the
effects
on meshing caused by the application of unexpected force. The ideal gear
finished
with high strength by cold forging is further machine cut to realize
the ideal tooth surface. Achieves infinite noiseless rotation and accurately

ATD
It follows the pull of the fish

LC-ABS (Longcast-ABS)

Perfect line stopper
A new shape line stopper that
supports both fine threads such
as PE line and thick threads such

Stopperless body
The body structure is simply
finished by removing the stopper.
By deciding to remove the stopper,
